M-92 Z-92   684 Mount Lemmon AFS, AZ MPS-7; TPS-10D; MPS-14; FPS-20/67; FPS-6 FPS-67B; FPS-6 Aug-56 31-Dec-69 1955 CONAD History document listed the site as Tucson. Family housing reportedly was at Davis-Monthan AFB. Radio (GATR) site later reactivated, and is still in use as site G-29.
M-92A       Sells, AZ (FPS-14 planned)       Gap-Filler Annex. Building is still extant. Adjacent to SR 86, about 15 miles NW of the town of Sells.
M-92B, TM-181B Z-181B     Covered Wells, AZ FPS-18   Dec-59 Dec-60 Gap-Filler Annex. Also known as Quijotoa. Building is still extant. Located adjacent to SR 86 (on south side), about 12 miles west of town.
M-92C       Benson, AZ (FPS-14 planned)       Gap-Filler Annex. Building and tower are no longer extant. All that remain are the concrete floor pad and the three radar-tower foundations. Site is about 200' south of I-10, about 3/4 mile west of the Sibyl interchange, about 6 miles east of town.
M-92D       Globe, AZ         Gap-Filler Annex. Located on Carol Spring Mountain, 23.7 road miles north of Globe off US Rte 60. Building is still extant. Reportedly, the site never became operational.

Current Use: Observatory, used by the University of Arizona and others; tracking radar (now removed) was used by US Army from Fort Huachuca, AZ.
