AN/GPS-T2 Radar Simulator

AN/GPS-T2, built by RCA, used a 70 mm film to simulate radar data which could be superimposed over and in sync with the live radar data. The -T2 could also be operated independently by supplying synchro rotation data in addition to the simulated radar data to the PPI scopes. The 70mm film was site specific with ground clutter, blind spots, and other local anomalies along with the simulated moving targets. Some films also included weather simulations. With the addition of an ACTER module (which made it a -T2A) the unit could simulate various types of jamming and chaff drops.
