Marked-up Aerial Image

This marked-up aerial photo shows where all the old Air Force radar towers were once situated on Childs Mountain. The AN/FPS-6A height-finder radar was on a temperate tower; it is not clear if that tower was actually still in place when this aerial image (dated "07 Sep 1992") was made. The present-day FAA joint-use ARSR-4 radar tower stands about where the old AN/FPS-7C search radar tower once stood, and the old AN/FPS-26 height-finder radar tower is still extant.
