Site History and Findings of Fact
0.63 acres were purchased from a private party in April 1957. The Air Force constructed the site, which was operated by the 343rd Fighter Group. The facility currently consists (at time this report was issued) of one masonry building, a latrine vault, and disassembled radar tower sections. Communications equipment and electrical generators were removed prior to disposal. The security fence and 5,000 gallon underground storage tank have been disassembled and removed by private ownership. The 0.63-acre GFA site was sold to the current owner by quitclaim deed in March 1971, and to the present owner in 1976.
Site Map
A site map and four Xeroxed copies of B & W photos were included in the report. The photos show the facility, and disassembled tower sections.
