Site Location
Just north of Territorial Road on Dixboro Road, Salem Township, Washtenaw County, Emery, Michigan. The site can be seen from the north where the Pontiac Trail intersects Dixboro Road.
Site History and Findings of Fact
Site was built in 1958, declared excess to GSA in 1969. It was equipped with a AN/FPS-14 radar.
Conveyed to private owners in 1971, who use the site as a storage facility for antique cars. The radar tower, radome, and operations building were extant at time the 1995 report was released.
