Due to continual erosion of the Cape Cod cliffs (1 to 2 feet per year), the eastern antenna support poles for teh already-deactivated AN/FRT-49 are cut down. [The barrel-shaped antenna on top had already been removed.] The three radomes of North Truro AFS can be seen in the far distance (about a mile to the north).
The western antenna support poles for the AN/FRT-49 were not removed at this time. Nor were any voice and low-power TDDL antennas/poles.
