Site Location
App 14 miles west of Council Grove, 1 mile north of Highway 56.
2 miles north and 3-1/2 miles west of Wilsey, Morris County, KS, Section 14, TWNSHP 16S, R6E.
Site History
Built in 1955 and declared excess to GSA in 1962, and returned to original landowner, EA Rindt. Property was reconveyed and was currently owned by Marvin Tischhauser at the time the 1984 report was released.
Findings of Fact
The site was extant in a 1984 inspection, with the radar tower and underground fuel tank having been removed.
At the time of the 1984 report, the site was being used by a trucking company.
