These photos were taken May 12, 2000 of the old SAGE building on the former
Norton AFB, Calif., now San Bernardino International Airport. Norton closed
during April 1994 as part of a phased operation. As can be seen in the
photos, the final occupant was the Air Combat Camera Service. Prior to
that, the structure was home to the Air Force Audiovisual Service, home of
the Air Force Now films, as well as the Air Force historical films. The
windowless, temperature controlled SAGE structure was perfect for film
storage.
At some point the local San Manuel Indians will be given the building and other parts of Norton. It will be used as a museum and will also house a television studio to be used for local programming.

The SAGE DC blockhouse is at the top left extending almost to the center. The cantonment area was between those buildings and the water tower seen near the bottom.
