Sign at the entrance to the former ADC long-range radar site. The Georgia Air National Guard`s 117th Air Control Squadron - callsign Stealth - has occupied the facility for several years.
The 117th ACS headquarters building, obviously added since the 702nd RADS departed.
Bldg 8557, one of a few surviving original structures on the site.
Bldg 8556, another survivor.
The old FPS-26 tower now has an extension topped by the squadron`s AN/TPS-75 radar. According to the site personnel, the radar is up at the 100-foot level and the interior of the tower is refurbished, albeit a tad old.
The former operations building.
The former operations building. The 117th`s managed some new construction over the years but overall the facility is still recognizable.
