The old Stead AFB, NV, SAGE Direction Center blockhouse (DC-16) is located south of the runways between Mt. Babcock St. (formerly 6th Avenue) and Mt. Bismark St. (formerly 7th Avenue), and between Echo Avenue and Fox Avenue. The facility now houses the Nevada Terawatt Facility (Zebra), relocated from Los Alamos National Labs, as of March 2000.
