RP-63 Z-63 J-51 772 Gibbsboro AFS, NJ FPS-66; [FPS-6A (2) Army]; FPS-27; FPS-6A; FPS-26A FPS-27; FPS-6A; FPS-26A. FPS-117 (JSS). 1961 JSS ARSR-4 site now Site was first an Air Force gap-filler site, P-9A. 772 AC&W Squadron relocated from Claysburg AFS, PA (P-63). Army radars were first at Pedricktown, NJ. Gibbsboro site became a joint-use Army (Nike) & Air Force ADC radar site. GATR site was located at McGuire AFB, NJ. Was to have remained a blue-suit site, then closed; re-opened; is now shared with FAA (JSS).
RP-63C       Palermo GFA, NJ FPS-18 * (planned / not installed)       Gap-Filler Annex. Site was designated as a gap-filler radar annex after the LRR shut down. Following the loss of Texas Tower No. 4, the Sector decided to retain the FPS-20, and cancelled development of the gap-filler. Site returned to LRR status the next year.

Current Use: Active JSS site.
