Nice to meet you members! I am a Msgt of Japan Air Self Defense Force and I have been working on a Radar technician for about 25years. 5years a go, I went to a Lockland AFB,Keesler AFB and Tinker AFB to study AWACSfs Radar and American English at Lockland(Defense language institute). Now my coworker who is Chief Msgt he has been looking for a some kind of history(biography) about P-35,off course which has been located in Japan and prefecture is Kyoto. We say Kyoga-misaki. Especially when JASDF took over a control of P-35 from USAF,well it is about 50years or more. There were plenty of stories between USAF and JASDF right? So tell me about it! We should make a history(biography)book of P-35 due to celebration of 50years of JASDF. If you guys know about mentioned above, please mail me. I need your help! My add is;webstar_rio@yahoo.co.jp Thank you very much! for reading my Japanese bad English.

I was a member of the 645th Radar Sq, at Patrick AFB, Fla. `62-`65. While visiting family in the Orlando area this month, called one of the members from that era Sgt. Burkhalter. Have not talked to any of those folks in approx 40 years....but the good Sgt. remembered me, and filled me in somewhat on the old crowd. Sgt. Dorminy has passed away, as well as Sgt. Watkins, the first Sgt.; Sgt. Tackett is retired in the area. Sgt. Askew is still in the Patrick area. We reminisced about the old days, and brought up all the names that we could remember. How could 40 years have flown by so fast? (grin)
