I have been primarily involved with ATC radars mostly longrange. I started at FT. Heath, Winthrop, Ma. back in 1961. At that time it was a typical AC and W site. It was joint use FAA/Air Force. Presently I am a Radar technical evaluator. We have two joint use sites in New England. Bucks Harbor and N. Truro. I inspect these facilities jointly with the air force every three years. I have some tidbits I could contribute to the group if you would like. I just inspected a joint use facility in Ft. Green, Fla. This site was originally located at Ft Lonesome,which is now closed. I find this web site very interesting as I have been involved with the air force for many years.
