GSA will be giving tours of the for-sale SAFEGUARD Missile Site Radar (MSR) complex and the four Remote Sprint Launch (RSL) sites there in North Dakota on Nov 27th and 28th. Note that the GSA requires advance sign-up for these tours.

Anyone out there remember/know Dave Adams. He left Keesler in Sept. '65 and went to Alaska (I think Kotzebue). He was from Glens Falls, NY. In the 3402nd Student Sq. 303x2

I was born and bred in San Jose and I recall looking to mountain and seeing in the radar rotating every day, when I went into the military I would call them up from wherever I was and ask for s off base connection which I got let me speak to my parents everyday. Sorry to hear it closed.They kept my morale up for an 18 year old.

Glad I found your site. Looking foward to learning more about it. I was surfing the internet and found "Land of the Midnight Sun 1969-1970, Cape Lisburne, AK" That really brought back memories and my desire to touch bases with old buddies.

I was at 695th Radar Sqdn, Pickstown, SD, then Malmstrom AFB, SAGE, then 711th AC&W SQDN, Cape Lisburne, AK, then McChord AFB, SAGE, then finished college in Denver then Navy Pilot training at Pensacola and commission, then 20 years FAA ATC, Then FAA Contract Towers in Walla Walla, WA, Troutdale, OR and Chico, CA.

I would love to touch basses with anyone that I may have met along the way and can nolonger sort it out where I met you. Getting Old!
