My Dad was Gerald Stern, who was in the 784 AC & W SQ AF in Alaska. He died there in 1962, from hypothermia. Does anyone remember him? If so, please email me. Thanks.

I was an E-4, security police stationed at point arena radar
site, during 1958. I helped build the swimming pool. We raised a couple of baby bob cats, and a couple of baby deer.
I was sent there from Hamilton AFB, returned to Hamilton at the end of my tour. The short wave radio reception was great
on top of the mountain. I had a helicrafter s-35. I spent a lot of time in the radar dome, listening to the operators, explain what was going on.

It could be a lot worse. Zoombag. Are you still alive and kicking? Anybody left from the 922nd, 612th and 685th? Helloooooo!
