I was a Powerman and in charge of everything that would generate electricity, plus everything with a gas or diesel engine, i.e., road graders, bulldozers, the whole motor pool and the tramway. I was the operator of the tramway the day the gondola crashed into the tower just below the top terminal. Scary for anyone, especially at 21 years old. |
