Interested. will sign up directly 02/07/2000 00:00:00 Name: Harold E. Nelson Very impressive and useful website. Have learned a lot. I am interested in geodetic survey aspects of SAGE sites, like the one near me, Charleston, Maine. Was lat & long determined for each RADOME? At Bucks Harbor, Maine, one RADOME was set directly over a Coast Survey station with precise lat & long. Some RADOMEs are higher than others. The TELSTAR site at Andover, Maine in 1962 had 5 other 210 foot RADOME and horn antennas proposed but never built. Geosynchronous came along. Each satellite RADOME was preciesly positioned so as not to be blocked by another. I assume that is why some SAGE RADOMES are taller than others, and is how placement is decided? Do plans for SAGE sites show triangulation diagram? Thanks. 02/07/2000 00:00:00 Name: Charles O. Ray Thanks for all the effort.
